When to use it
Start a Bedrock event counter for quiz or round points. dummy does not award scores automatically for deaths or collected items. These two lines do not award player points or decide winners.
Before running
Check that another system does not own an objective called points. Create it before selecting sidebar. Record any currently displayed objective because the same display slot may be replaced.
Follow in order
All commands
Create the objective
/scoreboard objectives add points dummy คะแนนA dummy value only changes via commands
Show the score
/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar pointsDisplays the objective on the right side of the screen
What to customize
Keep points consistent across both lines when changing the identifier. The Thai word is the visible title; changing that title alone does not change the ID used by score-awarding commands.
Verify the result
After setup, use the scoreboard tool to add or set a score for one test account, then inspect the sidebar. An initially empty player list is possible because these two commands set no player scores.
When results differ
If play does not increase scores, inspect the separate award logic; do not substitute Java’s deathCount criterion. Resolve identifier collisions with a new name or deliberate reuse rather than deleting existing scores.
