When to use it
Create a named Java gatekeeper with persistence against ordinary despawning. This does not make the zombie invulnerable, motionless, or friendly to players.
Before running
Prepare a roofed enclosure and keep players away before spawning. The zombie remains hostile and can burn in sunlight. ~ ~ ~ uses the execution position, so place the runner or context deliberately.
Warnings
This preset's NBT text format supports the 1.20.5-1.21.4 profile
Follow in order
All commands
Check the difficulty
/difficultyWith no value it reads the current difficulty; on Peaceful the zombie vanishes at once
Summon the mob
/summon minecraft:zombie ~ ~ ~ {CustomName:'{"text":"ผู้เฝ้าประตู"}',PersistenceRequired:1b}Summons a zombie at your current position with a name
What to customize
Edit the text in CustomName while retaining JSON-within-NBT quoting. This preset targets Java 1.20.5–1.21.4; use the summon tool for the destination version’s newer text format.
Verify the result
Check that one zombie appears at the intended location and inspect its name nearby. Repeated trials create additional mobs and can stack several zombies in the same enclosure.
When results differ
For a dead or missing mob, check sunlight, damage, Peaceful difficulty, and cleanup systems. Persistence does not protect against those causes, and a custom name does not prevent attacks.
