Msg Command Generator (whisper)

Send a private message to one player or a target selector — nobody else sees it

Enter a player name, or use a target selector such as @p, @a, @r.

All three work exactly the same — pick whichever you prefer.

How to use the Msg generator

  1. Choose the edition and version that match your game.
  2. Specify the recipient, then type the message you want to send.
  3. Copy the command and run it in Minecraft.

Only the sender and recipient can see the message. If you want to announce it to everyone, use the Say command

Worked examples

The examples below come out of the same generator as the form above, so the commands and explanations always match what the tool produces. Copy one and adjust it from there

1. Send a private message to the nearest player

Only the sender and the recipient see it — nothing appears in anyone else’s chat

/msg @p เจอกันที่จุดนัดพบนะ

What it does Will send the private message "เจอกันที่จุดนัดพบนะ" to the nearest player, which other players will not see.

2. Message a player by name

A plain player name works — you do not have to use a target selector

/tell Steve ของอยู่ในหีบหลังบ้าน

What it does Will send the private message "ของอยู่ในหีบหลังบ้าน" to the player "Steve", which other players will not see.

3. Message everyone privately

Unlike /say, the message does not carry a server-wide announcement prefix

/w @a อีก 1 นาทีเริ่มเกม

What it does Will send the private message "อีก 1 นาทีเริ่มเกม" to all players, which other players will not see.

How this command differs by edition and version

This is the first example above, run through every edition and version this tool supports. Versions that produce the same result share a row

Every version this tool supports produces the same result, so a command you copy works without version-specific edits
